“Anyone who has experienced at first hand the enthusiasm, excitement and anticipation of young people as they begin their involvement in junior cricket at their first organised coaching session, or has witnessed the intensity and commitment of their approach to their first competition match, cannot fail to appreciate the value of junior cricket and the spirit of the game to the individual and the community.
“Sadly, for many, the opportunity for this experience is limited or not accessible at all due to the absence of the Club infrastructure, personnel, equipment and facilities because the funding necessary for their provision is not available.
“The primary role of the BYCT is to identify these instances and direct such funding as is available to the Trustees to distribute to assist to eliminate them. That is why your contribution is so important. I urge you to contribute to the objectives of the Trust through the means described in this brochure.
