Thank you for visiting

The Bucks Youth Cricket Trust is a registered charity which exists to support the development of youth cricket in Bucks by the tax efficient accumulation and distribution of funds to Clubs and other organisations having a demonstrable need for financial support.

The Trust supports projects that exhibit the potential to improve junior cricket in the County, or young cricketers who would benefit from funding assistance to enable them to take up development opportunities. All applications made to the Trust are considered with great care by the Trustees who endeavour to ensure that the greatest possible benefits are secured from the available funding. Allocations are made in accordance with the Trust’s Charitable Objects as set out in the Trust Deed.

The ability of the Trust to support Bucks Cricket is entirely dependent on the generosity of individuals, businesses and other charitable funding agencies. Any donation is, of course, most gratefully received but it is especially helpful for the Trust to receive regular contributions by standing order, as this enables us to plan ahead with a more certain revenue stream.

You can also support the Trust by raising funds via our Virgin Money Giving site when setting a personal goal or celebrating a special occasion.

A Message from our Chairman

“Anyone who has experienced at first hand the enthusiasm, excitement and anticipation of young people as they begin their involvement in junior cricket at their first organised coaching session, or has witnessed the intensity and commitment of their approach to their first competition match, cannot fail to appreciate the value of junior cricket and the spirit of the game to the individual and the community.

“Sadly, for many, the opportunity for this experience is limited or not accessible at all due to the absence of the Club infrastructure, personnel, equipment and facilities because the funding necessary for their provision is not available.

“The primary role of the BYCT is to identify these instances and direct such funding as is available to the Trustees to distribute to assist to eliminate them.  That is why your contribution is so important.  I urge you to contribute to the objectives of the Trust through the means described in this brochure.  With your support the Trustees will strive to improve the opportunity for participation and enhance the experience of cricket for future generations in Buckinghamshire”
